Step by Step Process to renting a property...

Step 1 Register your interest

The first step to finding the right property is to register with us either by calling us on 01895 544 544 or visiting our office where you can discuss your property requirements with one of our agents. You can also register your interest about a specific property online if you are short of time.

Step 2 Finding the right property

Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements you will receive a selection of properties that match your criteria. We can also keep you constantly up-to-date via email and SMS alerts when the latest properties become available.


Step 3 Is a short let right for you?

A short let is ideal if you are looking for a short term residential solution and offers a good alternative to staying in a hotel or serviced apartment.

They are especially popular with visitors to the capital, people getting to know a new area or those renovating or moving home. A short let can offer you flexibility in rental length and is usually furnished to a high standard with all bills included in the rent (excluding telecommunication services).

Step 7 Making an offer

Once you have identified a suitable property you will be required to complete an application for tenancy where you may state any special conditions of the offer and provide details for your references. You will be expected to pay a holding fee which will be deducted from your final balance on the condition of a successful application. We will then communicate this offer to the landlord.

Step 9 immigration checks

The introduction of immigration checks on tenants – otherwise known as the Right to Rent scheme has made plenty of headlines over the past year.

The system will require landlords to see a prospective tenant's passport or biometric residence permit to determine whether or not they are legally eligible to rent property in the UK.

Although landlords are ultimately responsible for checking their tenants' eligibility to rent here, their letting agents could quite easily become involved. Step 10 Offer agreed

If your offer is accepted we will organise the following regardless of whetheror not your property is managed:

Step 11 Completion

Upon completion, you will be given a set of keys and if your property is managed we will provide you with your dedicated Property Manager's contact details.

If it is not managed, then we will provide you with the details of the landlord or his appointed agent.

Congratulations, you can now move into your new home!
